So last night (Friday) at 650 we caught a train to Barcelona- we had a transfer in Figures (where Salvador Dali was born) and then we got into Barce around 11. We took the metro to our hostel and checked in.
Thheennnn....we went out with some friends from colgate (Matt and TC- dad you know them!) And bar hopped a little- there are some awesome bars here- one called Dow Jones that has a stock market of drinks, and when one goes down, the price goes down and everyone runs to buy drinks- pretty cool...and another called Chapitos (spanish for shot) that has literally hundreds of kinds of shots...even roasted marshmellow...
Were staying at the Equity Point Cebtric hostel - look it up if you want, its amazing- on the equivalent of like Madison Ave of nyc- there is a Barclays and Burberry right next to us. We couldn't be in a better location.
It was super sad saying bye to our host mom in Montpellier, she even packed us a dinner to eat on the train of sandwiches and desserts! She let us keep our bags there (so our computers and stuff don't get stolen on our trip), so we'll be going back next Sunday to get them back.
Each of the 5 girls I'm traveling with is living out of a backpack for 8 days and 8 nights- so we'll see how we look and smell once we get back to geneva
Its only about 10 am here and we just finished getting ready and ate breakfast at the hostel for free, so were going to go get to know the city. More later.
Xoxo
